This dream itinerary is specifically designed to follow the Tanzania Wildebeest Migration Safari. With four nights in the Serengeti, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the central Serengeti and spend some days witnessing the great migration, which could be in the south (Ndutu) from December to March or in the remote northern tip of the Serengeti from July to November
Day to day Itinerary
Day 1: Hisbania to Serengeti
Welcome to Tanzania border crossing then drive to Serengeti national park Accommodation: Bed- Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner. Overnight Embalakai Tented camp,3 to 4hour driving.
Day 2: Serengeti national park
Have breakfast at 08:00 a.m. and go on morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. full-day game drive in Serengeti national park with picnic lunch, This is the best, largest and oldest national park in Tanzania, Central Serengeti Seronera area is well known for cats, Lion, and Leopard, cheetah on the kopjes. Enjoy your lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the mid-afternoon. See the carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena,d cheetah in the park. Varied bird species can also be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes, and guinea fowl. Other common species found here include hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkeys, and more. Accommodation; bed- Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner. Overnight at Empalakai Tented Camp.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Wake up at 06:00 a.m. and have a cup of hot coffee. Go on an early morning game drive and get a chance to witness the early morning Serengeti sunrise, Drive back to the camp at 09:30 a.m. to have breakfast. Departure from camp and enjoy the last game drive on your way to Ngorongoro. You have a chance to visit the typical nomadic Maasai village and experience their culture. Have dinner Accommodation; bed- Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner. Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
Day 4: Ngorongoro to karatu
Early morning take breakfast then drive to Ngorongoro Crater, The Ngorongoro crater is the largest Caldera in the world that still has its walls intact which support 30,000 animals and 350 different species of birds, all of which have access to water all year round. Once past the entrance to Ngorongoro, you pass through a lush area of the rainforest before the descent along the inside of the crater begins. After an exciting drive down, you arrive at the 260 km2 crater floor. The rim of the crater towers 600 meters above you. You might be at the bottom of the crater, but you are high up because the rim of the crater is 2,200 meters above sea level. In the crater, there is plenty to look at! The landscape, lions, gazelles, elephants, gnus, and zebras in their droves. If you are really lucky, you might see the endangered black rhinoceros, which is almost extinct in Africa due to poaching. Lunch is enjoyed in stunning surroundings on the floor of the crater, Accommodation; bed- Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner. Overnight at Octagon Lodge.
Day 5: Karatu to tarangire
Morning 7:00 pm00pm our guide meet you and brief all about the trip for 20 minutes, Then drive to Tarangire national park 2-2:30 hours heading the entrance of Tarangire, 110km nice road and 7km ruff road, Have to stop at the entrance for formalities then drive to the public campsite drop our chef and all staffs then we proceed for game drive around Tarangire river, With picnic lunch. The Tarangire national park is home to Elephants, About 4,500 Elephants are found in the park, you have a chance to see Lion, cheetahs, Leopard, Antelopes, Zebras, and Kudu. Evening drive back to Arusha . Accommodation; bed- Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner. Overnight at Tulia Boutique Lodge.
Day 6: Arusha to Namanga
On Day 6 of your journey, you'll depart from the vibrant city of Arusha and head towards the border town of Namanga. As you leave Arusha behind, you'll be treated to stunning landscapes and the allure of Tanzanian countryside. Namanga, situated at the border of Tanzania and Kenya, offers a unique blend of cultures and a chance to experience the crossroads of East Africa. The day's journey will provide opportunities to observe local life and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of this diverse region. Whether you're continuing your adventure into Kenya or exploring the local markets and surroundings, Day 6 is a transition filled with new experiences and cultural encounters.
